PROGRAM SITE COORDINATOR - Boston and Surrounding Areas (available to oversee multiple locations)
Location: Boston and surrounding towns/cities 

Schedule: Part-time during school, afternoons, holidays and weekend days with 20-25 hours per week of availability.  

Pay: $30 per hour

We are seeking a responsible and knowledgeable Site Coordinator to lead our instructors and play a key role in our prestigious school partnership programs. As a Site Coordinator, you will work closely with schools to offer academic support and enrichment. Our instructors create an exceptional learning experience for our students through the delivery of our curriculum, while being overseen by the site coordinator to ensure the program is running smoothly. This in-person position involves during school, after-school, holiday, vacation weeks, and weekend hours, with the potential to have full time summer hours working directly with our staff and K-12 students. We provide extensive paid training and on-the-job learning opportunities, equipping you with the skills to support both instructors and students using various technologies. As a Site Coordinator, you will develop important leadership skills, including team building and employee retention.

 WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Coordinate staffing & scheduling needs for our partnership programs 
  • Collaborate with your instructor team to enhance their classroom management skills 
  • Oversee and manage all supplies for the partnership programs, placing orders when necessary 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with onsite staff of our partner programs, working proactively and collaboratively to resolve issues  
  • Support your team in finding creative ways to help students design and complete exciting projects  
  • Provide troubleshooting and technical support as needed 
  • Assist instructors and students in resolving conflicts and behavior challenges, while fostering their social-emotional development 
  • Work with students’ caregivers and partner program staff to celebrate and support student success  
  • Ensure that all sites meet or exceed Livius’s high-quality standards 
  • Available for subbing needs.

IDEAL CANDIDATES ADDITIONALLY HAVE 

  • At least 1 school year of teaching and administrative experience 
  • Experience working with students on IEP/504 Plans, unhoused students, and other needs 
  • Previous leadership experience in an educational context 
  • A creative and professional desire to provide purposeful academic opportunities for all 
  • Ability to engage with your team and communicate openly and regularly with those who support you 
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and personal accountability within a team 
  • Proven ability to positively impact youth and address the varied needs of instructors and students 
  • Experience working in a culturally diverse environment and a passion for fostering an inclusive and engaging learning atmosphere 
  • Experience training or coaching educators 
  • Attention to detail to comply with all regulatory guidelines 
  • Strong commitment to the Livius Prep mission and culture 
  • Multilingual Abilities: Proficiency in Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Portuguese is highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset 

YOU MUST HAVE 

  • Your own reliable vehicle for transportation to support instructors at all sites
  • Demonstrated success as an instructor of elementary, middle or high school students in a camp, school, or after school program (any subject matter, volunteer or paid) 
  • Comfort with technology 
  •  Ability to clear background checks and a MA CORI checks 
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail 
  • Be 21 years of age or older 
  • A high school diploma and a minimum two years of college, preferably a bachelor's degree or working towards a bachelor's degree
