Student Support Instructor (K-12)

We are hiring responsible, knowledgeable classroom instructors who want to jump in with both feet to help us connect with students and be a part of one of our most prestigious school partnership programs. This position is in-person with after school hours working with K-12th grade students on enrichment programs in literacy & STEM. Our students are highly motivated for personal growth; therefore, we are seeking individuals who share their love and excitement for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Diverse Student Needs: Experience working with students on IEP/504 Plans, unhoused students, and other needs.
Inspire and Motivate: Ability to share your passion and inspire students to reach their full potential.
Creative and Professional: Are creative, professional, and serious about providing purposeful academic opportunities for all.
Availability: Maintain an accurate calendar and be available during the school day, after school throughout the week and some weekends if/when needed.
In-Person Commitment: Be available to work in-person on campus in Boston, Lynnfield, Somerville, and surrounding towns in Massachusetts.
Detailed Reporting: Provide timely and detailed notes after each session.
Team Engagement: Engage with the team and communicate openly and regularly with those who support you.
Are You the Right Fit?
Diverse Experience: You have experience working in a culturally diverse environment and a passion for fostering an inclusive and engaging learning atmosphere.
IEP/504 Expertise: You have specific experience developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
Reliability: You are reliable and punctual and live within a reasonable commute of our school partners, each 20 miles or less outside of Boston, Massachusetts.
Student Connection: You know how to connect with your students, especially those with unique needs.
Multilingual Abilities: Proficiency in Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Portuguese is highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset.
Growth-Oriented: You want to be a part of an exciting company as it grows.
Educational Background: You have completed at least four years of college.
Certification: You are preferably a certified teacher.
Eligibility: You are eligible to work in the U.S. and can successfully complete a federal I-9 form and a national background check.
